The $4.95 cast iron skillet

I’m completely stoked about this Emerilware (made by All-Clad) cast iron skillet I got for $4.95.

We’ve been wanting one for a while, but good ones can be a little pricey.  We already have a complete set of Emerilware and have been really pleased with it.  When I earned enough points to get another $25.00 Macy’s gift card from e-rewards, I looked on their website to see what they had in terms of cast iron.  I saw this beauty on sale for $27.99 and snapped it up.  To make the deal even sweeter, I had a free shipping code that Macy’s sent me for a birthday surprise.   So, with all the discounts, gift cards and free shipping codes, I only ended-up paying $4.95.

This skillet seriously made my day!  We’ve already used it and it works very well.  Just be sure to read the directions before using cast iron for the first time and season it before use.  This is very important to the well-being of your cast iron skillet.

What about you?  What bargains have you scored lately?

  1. Nice! You always find the best deals. E-Rewards seems like they have well worth the time. 🙂
